אִטֵּר, אִיטֵּר m. (b. h. אִטֵּר, v. Hebr. Dict.), sub. יד ימינו one whose right hand is tied up or unfit for labor; left-handed. Sabb. 103ᵃ אי׳ יד. Men. 37ᵃ only א׳. Tosef. Bekh. V, 8 א׳ בין בידיו וכ׳; Bekh. 45ᵇ א׳ בין ביד וכ׳ one either left-handed or left-legged (v. Rashi a. l.).
