אַטְבָּא, (אַטְבְּעָא) m. (טבע, v. טַבַּעַת) ring, hook, clasp. Men. 32ᵃ א׳ דסיפרי clasp for fastening the leaves of books while reading.—Pl. (אַטְבְּעֵי) אַטְבֵּי. Sabb. 98ᵃ Ar. אטבי (ed. באטבעי אטבעי, some ed. בא׳ בטבעי, corr. acc., Ms. M. only בטבעי, margin אטבי; v. Rabb. D. S. a. l.). Num. R. s. 6 (in Hebr. diction) א׳ של ברזל iron clasps (to fasten the boards on the wagon).
