אַטְמָא, (אִיטְמָא) m. (v. foreg.) something solid, whence the solid part, flank. Targ. II, Esth. I, 2.—B. Mets. 23ᵇ אי דדפנא אי דא׳ Ar. (ed. או דדפקא או דא׳, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 3) whether from the ribs or from the flank. Ḥull. 42ᵇ בוקא דא׳ the thickest part of the flank (the thigh, hip).—B.
