אָוָוז m. (√אוו, v. אְוַשׁ; cmp. Syr. וזא, a. וזוז bombum edit, P. Sm. 1060) [the noisy], goose. Ber. 57ᵃ הרואה א׳ וכ׳ he who sees a goose in his dream, may hope for wisdom (with ref. to Prov.
