אוּבְלָא II, (אוּכְלָא, אָכְלָא) m. (יבל) vessel made of willow twigs; basket, or perforated trough; (as to shape v. Sm. Ant. s. v. Călathus). Bekh. 43ᵇ, v. בִּילוֹן a. כִּילוֹן. Sab. 123ᵇ; Snh. 92ᵃ, a. e. א׳ דקצרי Ar. (ed. אוכ׳) the fuller’s trough. Ib. 28ᵇ the father of the husband and the father of the wife are no more kinsmen אלא כי א׳ לדנא (ed. אכלא) than is a basket related to a barrel. [For אכלא, אוכלא cmp. כְּלִיל, כַּלְכָּלָה.]
