אוּדְנָא II f. (from its shape, v. foreg. a. P. Sm. 40) 1) leather-bottle, jar (a liquid measure). Pl. אוּדְנִין. Y. Maas. Sh. IV, 55ᵇ bot. (to one who had dreamt he had four udnin = ears, v. foreg.) מלוי את תרתי אֻדְנָיךְ ותרתי אוּדְנוֹי דגרבא thou shalt have wine enough to fill thy own two udnin (wine jars), and two udnin (measures) of a garba (v. גַּרְבָּא I) besides. —2) (Syr. אוזנא, וזנא P. Sm. 49, 1061) bath-tub. Ber. 22ᵃ was sitting בא׳ דמיא Ar. (ed. באגנא, Ms. Beth. Nath. באוזנא) in a tub filled with an udna of water. Sabb. 157ᵇ א׳ דמיא … Ar.
