Sabb. 77ᵇ.—*Ḥull. 32ᵃ לא הוה בדיחנא ביה וכ׳ I could not make light of my uncle so as to ask him (Ar. ed. pr. בדיקנא).
Pa. - בַּדַּח to cheer up, make laugh. Taan. 22ᵃ, v. בָּדוֹחָא. Ned. 51ᵃ have I not cautioned thee דלא תבדחן not to make us laugh? Ib. 50ᵇ bot. תבדיחן (En Yaak. תבדחן).
