בִּישׁ I, בִּישָׁא m. (v. באיש) bad, wrong (of persons and deeds); also ill, sick. Targ. Gen. VI, 5; a. v. fr.—Lev. R. s. 22 (prov.) טב לב׳ וכ׳ when thou hast done good to a bad man, thou hast done evil (to thyself). B. Kam. 115ᵃ חנן בישא Ḥanan, the bad man.—B.
