בֵּיעָא, בֵּיעָה, בֵּיעֲתָא, בֵּעֲתָא f. ch. (= h. בֵּיצָה; בוע) egg. Targ. Job VI, 6; a. fr.—Y. Ned. III, 38ᵃ top (Y. Shebu. III, 34ᵈ bot. סגין, corr. acc.) כגון ב׳ ומרגליתא as e.g. one swearing of an egg that it was a pearl (as an instance of שבועת שקר).
