בּוּרְדְּלָא, בַּרְדִּילָא m. (a corrupt. of flagellum, cmp. פַּרְגַּל; late Lat. burdillus; cmp. late Greek βουρδουλίζειν, Sachs Beitr. II, 88 note) club, whip. — Pl. בּוּרְדְּלִין blows, lashes. Pesik. B’shall. p. 81ᵇ; Yalk. Ex. 225 בורלודין (corr. acc.; Mekh. B’shall. 1 מכות).—בַּרְדִּילַיָּא. Num. R. s. 13 חמית שוטיא וב׳ she beheld the rods and whips.
