גְּדָנְפָא, (גַּדְפָנָא) m. (גדף, with inserted נ) rim, enclosure. Targ. O. Ex. XXV, 25, a. e. (ed. Berl. גְּדֳ׳, Y. גפוף, h. text מסגרת). Targ. Ezek. XLIII, 13; 17 (h. text גבול).—Succ. 20ᵇ דאית ליה ג׳ (Ms. M. גדפנא, Ar. גדפא) when the matting has a rim (so as to be used as a receptacle for fruits). Ab.
