גְּלִים, גְּלִימָא I m. (גְלַם 1) wrapper, cloak. Targ. O. Gen. XXV, 25 ed. כִּגְלִים (ed. Berl. כָּכְלָן, v. כִּילַן, Var. כִּגְלָם). Targ. II Esth. VIII, 15.—Sabb. 77ᵇ it is called g’lima, שנעשה בו כגוֹלֶם ed. (Ms. M. שנעשית כגו׳) because one looks in it like a shapeless (armless) body (Ms. M. it is rolled up like a lump).
