הֶסֵּיעַ m. (נָסַע) = preced. w., (with or sub. הַדַּעַת) discarding, giving up. Y. Pes. I, 28ᵇ top ה׳ דבר תורה, v. הֶיסֵּחַ. Y. Shek. VII, beg. 50ᶜ ה׳ דעת טעון וכ׳ sacrificial meat whose existence has been forgotten (is unfit and) requires decomposition before it is burnt. Y. Meg. IV, 75ᶜ top מפני ה׳ ד׳ because his attention may be diverted (by looking at the priests); Y. Taan. IV, beg. 67ᵇ מסיע (corr. acc.). Y. Pes. X, 37ᵈ bot. מפני ה׳ הד׳ because the thought of eating it has been abandonned.
