הַצָּלָה f. (b. h.; נצל) rescue, relief. Meg. 16ᵇ הצָּלַת נפשות saving of human lives. Gitt. 56ᵃ (in Chald. diction) אפשר דהוי ה׳ פורתא may be some little relief (by royal favor) can be had; ib.ᵇ וה׳ פורתא נמי וכ׳ and even a little favor will not be shown.
