הַרְפַּתְקָא, הַרְפַּתְקֵי m. (פתק with preform. הר, cmp. הַרְמָנָא; v. פִּיתְקָא) [portions, allotments,] 1) measure, limitation. Targ. Job XVIII, 2 (h. text קִנְצֵי). —2) destinies, reverses, experiences (cmp. גְּזֵרָה). Ib. XII, 5 ה׳ זמנא the changes of time (h. text מועדי רגל; cmp. רֶגֶל).—R. Hash. 16ᵃ כל הני ה׳ דעדו וכ׳ all those preordained changes that passed over the standing crop (up to Passover).
