הוּגָּן , only in fem. הוּגֶּנֶת (= מְהוּגֶּנֶת, v. הָגַן; cmp. הוֹגָן) befitting, corresponding to; well-regulated. Yeb. XII, 6 (106ᵇ) עצה הה׳ לו an advice befitting his case. Gitt. VIII, 5 (79ᵇ) לשום מלכות שאינה ה׳ (Mish. אהרת) in the name of a government not corresponding (to the country in which the document was written, or not recognized in the country).
