חֵמָה, חֵי׳ f. (b. h.; חמם or חום) 1) heat, anger. Snh. 82ᵇ משיב ח׳ בן וכ׳ he is an allayer of (divine) anger, the son of &c. Num. R. s. 20 נתמלא עליה ח׳ he became angry at her. Lam.
