IV, 23ᶜ bot. לבושי מאנין נקיים חדי (read: נקיי וחדיי) dressed in clean and glossy garments (in spite of the rain, v. Rashi to Snh. 44ᵇ); Y. Ḥag. II, 78ᵃ top הווי עמכין חדיי (corr. acc.). —2) merry, noisy.—Fem. חַדְיְתָא. Yalk. Is. 289 (transl. עליזה, Is. XXII, 2), v. חֲדָאָה a. דַּחְיָיא.—Pl. חַדְיֵי (abstr. noun) joy. Targ. II Esth.
