חָכְמָה f. (b. h.; חָכַם) wisdom, learning, art. Ber. 17ᵃ תכלית ח׳ וכ׳ the perfection of wisdom is repentance and good deeds. Ib. 33ᵃ ברכת ח׳ the benediction of wisdom (the fourth of the Prayer of Benedictions). Gen. R. s. 17 חָכְמָתוֹ מרובה וכ׳ his (Adam’s) wisdom is greater than yours. R.
