חוּמְרָא II m. (v. חוֹמֶר II) joint, knot, bead, amulet. Kidd. 73ᵇ תלי ח׳ וכ׳ Ar. (ed. רמי חוּמְרֵי) if the child is found with an amulet (beads, by which the mother intimated the hope of future identification) … it is not considered a foundling (v. אֲסוּפִי).—Pl. חוּמְרֵי. Ib. 9ᵃ top ח׳ פתכייתא glass-beads. Sabb. 147ᵇ bot. ח׳ שדרא the vertebrae (v. חוּלְיָא I).
