Kidd. l. c.—Snh. 96ᵃ טַחְנֵי קשייתא were grinding date-stones; a. fr.—Part. pass. טְחִין, טְחִינָא. Ib.ᵇ טְחִינַת קמחא ט׳ thou groundest ground flour (you conquered Israel because it was doomed to destruction). Ber. 43ᵃ bot. משחא ט׳ oil perfumed with ground ingredients, contrad. to כבישא.—Y. Ned.
