כֹּחַ, כּוֹחַ m. (b. h.; v. יָכַח) firmness, strength, power. Hor. 9ᵃ בנוי בכ׳ וכ׳ in beauty, in physical strength, &c. Ḥag. 12ᵃ. Snh. 96ᵃ תשש כֹּחוֹ his strength failed him. Ber. 63ᵃ כל … אין בו כח וכ׳ he who is careless about the study of the Law, will have no strength to endure on the day of trouble; a. v. fr.—Bets. 2ᵇ, a. fr.
