R. s. 53 מ׳ גדול מִשְׁתֵּה גדולים ‘a great feast’ (Gen. XXI, 8) a festive gathering of great men. Keth. 4ᵃ, a. fr. שבעת ימי המ׳ the wedding week. Sabb. 67ᵇ עשה מ׳ לבנו gave a feast in honor of his son. Keth. 8ᵃ נערים ממ׳ נגינתם the voices of the youths singing at their banquets. Ber. I, 1, a. fr. בית המ׳ (the house of a) wedding. Deut.
