מַחַץ m. (חָצַץ, v. Jud. V, 11) [distributor, cmp. בָּזִיךְ,] ladle for filling vessels out of the well, or the wine- or oil-pit. Par. V, 5 שולי המ׳ the sides of a broken ladle. Ab. Zar. 74ᵇ; Y. ib.
