מוֹקֵד, מוֹקְדָא I ch. same. Targ. I Chr. II, 54.—Snh. 33ᵇ אדמוֹקְדָךְ יקיד (זיל) קוץ וכ׳ (not יקוד; v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note; Rashi: עד דמ׳) while thy fire is burning, (go) cut thy gourd and roast it, i.e. when listening to your teacher give him your full attention, and you need ask no questions.—מ׳ דטבריה (בית, בי) the hot spring of Tiberias.
