קַמֵּי, (קַמּ־) m. pl. constr. = קוֹמֵי 1) before, in the presence of. Ber. 3ᵃ; Gitt. 6ᵇ ק׳ שמיא, v. סְפֵקָא. Lam. R. introd. (R. Abbahu 2) (ref. to Ez. XXIV, 6) אוי מן ק׳ דקרתא וכ׳ woe on account (cmp. h. מִפְּנֵי) of the town in which they shed blood! Bets. 27ᵃ שדריה לקַמֵּיה דר׳ וכ׳ he sent it before R. A. (for his decision).
