III, 3ᶜ top ההן א׳ פ׳ … שרי למיחשדוניה וכ׳ (read למישחדוניה) it is permissible to bribe the quartermaster (to let you off) before the Romans enter (the place), but not after that (when one man’s release from quartering duty is a direct injury to the other inhabitants).
