*בְּלוּזְמָא f. (בלזם = בלסס, בסם) drinking of spiced wines, whence (cmp. בָּסַם) frolic, carousal.—Pl. בְּלוּזְמָאוֹת. Lev. R. s. 12 והיו שם שתי ב׳ (Yalk. Jer. 320 בלזמיות) two excessive rejoicings took place at the same time. [Num. R. s. 10 a. Midr. Prov. to ch. XI have צהלה.]
