*בַּתְוָא, בַּתְוָותָא f. same, esp. the untillable cuts in the valley or field (cmp. בַּתּוֹת Is. VII, 19). Sabb. 110ᵇ let him cut porret מב׳ דמישרא Ar. (Var. גובתא ed. Koh.; oth. ed. בוותא; Ms. M. ממכתוותא, ed. מכבתותא דמישרי) from the waste parts of the valley; v. כָּתָא.
