*גּוֹד m. (נגד) [stretched,] leather bag for wine, milk &c.; which travellers at night stretch like a tent in order to let the cool air strike it, large leather bottle. Sabb. 138ᵃ הג׳ … לא יעשה (Ms. M. הנוד a. O., v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) one must not stretch the bag &c. on the Sabbath. Ib.ᵇ, v. כֶּסֶךְ.
