R. s. 6 משביעין האדם … אתמול היה הנ׳ הזה וכ׳ they administer an oath to a person by the book of the Law and bring before him blown-up (empty) hides, to intimate, yesterday this hide was filled with sinews and bones and now it is empty, so will he who wantonly causes his neighbor to swear become empty &c.
