בַּגָּר f. (preced.) a woman of age. Tosef. Keth. V, 1 הב׳ כתביעה (read בת׳, Var. ed. Zuck. הבּוֹגֶרֶת בתביעה) she who is of age when asked (by her betrothed) to be married; Y. ib. 29ᵈ הב׳ בשעה (corr. acc.). Ib. נותנין לב׳ וכ׳ a girl of age is allowed twelve months for preparation for her wedding.—Ch. v. בַּגִּיר.
