Employment Applicant Privacy Notice

1. What this notice covers

This notice applies when you apply for, or tell us you are interested in, a role through Build With Berean. Volunteer interest through Help Us Launch is covered by its own privacy page. The Privacy Policy covers the rest of the website.

2. What we collect

• Your name, email address, and phone number if you give one.
• The role you are interested in.
• Your relevant experience and why you are interested.
• Your résumé or CV, if you upload one.
• Later, if you continue: details for scheduling a conversation, and the documents needed if you are offered a role.

Please do not include your Social Security number, date of birth, health information, or photos. Berean does not need them to review your application.

3. How we use it

• To review your application and decide on it.
• To contact you about the role and schedule conversations.
• Not for marketing. Berean never sells your information.
• People make the decisions, not automated systems.

4. Who sees it

Only the people at Berean who review applications for that role, and the staff who run recruitment. The companies that host Berean’s website and database store it for us and may not use it for anything else.

5. How long we keep it

Berean keeps your application file for 1 year after the role is filled or your application is closed, and then deletes it. If you join Berean, the parts needed for your role are kept with your role records.

6. Your choices

• Ask to see the information Berean holds about your application.
• Ask Berean to correct it.
• Withdraw your application at any time.
• Ask Berean to delete it sooner.

7. Contact
