טְרַכְסִיד m. (a comp. of טֶרֶךְ a. סִיד) binding cement. Tosef. Sot. XV, 9 if one put sand in the lime, הרי זה ט׳ ואסור ed. (ed. Zuck. טרכיו סיד הוא, Var. טַרְכֵי סיד) it is cement and therefore forbidden; B. Bath. 60ᵇ הרי זה ט׳ (Ms. O. טַרְכְּסָאוֹ the binding of it (the lime), cmp. טְרַקְסִין); Sabb. 80ᵇ (Ms. M. תר׳).
