כְּפָתָה f. h. (v. preced.) travelling implements tied up, bundle.—Pl. כְּפָתוֹת. Gen. R. s. 100 קשרי כְּפָתוֹתֵיהֶן התירו (some ed. קשרות) they (the Canaanites) untied the knots of their (the pall-bearers’) bundles (assisted them in their preparations for camping); Yalk. Gen. 161 בתרי כתפותיהם; Y. Sot. I, 17ᵇ bot. קשרי כתפיהן (corr. acc.).
