כִּילְתָא I f. same, enclosure; bridal canopy, curtained bed. Targ. Job XV, 32 כִּילְתֵיה Ms. (ed. כַּלְתֵיה, h. text כִּפָּה). Targ. Y. Ex. II, 1. Targ. Y. Gen. XLVI, 21 כֵּילַת הילולא (to h. text חֻפִּים, v. חוּפָּה).—Snh. 29ᵇ בכִילְתֵיה behind the curtain of his bed-room. Succ. 26ᵃ למיגנא בכ׳ וכ׳ to sleep in the Succah under a canopy.
