לוֹקוּטִינִינְטֵיס m. pl. (locum tenentes) lieutenants, viceroys. Midr. Till. to Ps. CXLIX [read:] מלך בו"ד יש לו דוכוס יש לו ל׳ a human king has a dux, has governors. [Our w. is a gloss to a word in the text which is now missing, prob. מִשְׁנִים.—Editions vary between לוקוטניטוס, לקוטנטיס &c. V. Mus. s. v. in Ar. ed. Koh.]
