מְעוּבֶּה m. (עָבָה) dense, large-sized, opp. מידק, v. דָּקק. Arakh. 25ᵃ לא מְעֻבֶּה וכ׳ neither too densely, nor too sparsely sown. Succ. IV, 9 (48ᵇ); a. e.—Pl. מְעוּבִּין. Pes. 64ᵇ והיו קוראין אותו פסח מ׳ (not אותן, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note 9; Ms. M. מְנוּיִן, v. מָנָה) and they called it the Passover of the crowded, v. מָעַךְ.
