מוֹחַ, מוֹחָא ch. same , brain; also head. Targ. O. Deut. XXVIII, 35 (h. text קדקד).—Ḥull. 45ᵃ, v. חַיְיתָא IV. Meg. 19ᵇ ומחו לה אמ׳ and they struck it (R. Ḥia’s opinion) on the head, i.e. opposed it (Rashi: and he (R. Ḥ.) struck it, &c., i.e. modified it, read: ומחי). Gen. R. s. 68 מוֹחֵיה, v. פְּצַע; a. fr.—Pl. מוֹחַיָּא. Targ. Y. Deut. XXVIII, 22 (some ed. מוֹחֲיָא) marrow of bones.
