נִסְכָּא, נִי׳ II (preced. wds.) cast metal. Sabb. 59ᵇ, v. אֲנִיסְכָּא.—Esp. a piece of silver or gold, bar, opp. to מטבע, coined metal. B. Kam. 96ᵇ האי מאן דגזיל נ׳ וכ׳ if one steals a piece of metal and makes it into coins. Ib. 98ᵃ שבח לעניין נ׳ he profits by the increased value of the metal.
