עֶדְנָה f. (b. h.; עָדַן) [rejuvenation,] (in homilet.) 1) (v. עֲדִי II) ornaments. Gen. R. s. 48 (ref. to Gen. XVIII, 12) היתה לי ע׳ תכשיטים נאים וכ׳ ‘I should have ‘ednah’ (= עדי נאה), beautiful finery (to make me attractive) (ref. to Ez. XVI, 11).—2) period, menses. Ib., v. עִידּוֹן.
