פְּצַח 1) (= b. h. (= b. h. פָּצַח) to burst, open, v. פְּצִיחַ. —2) (cmp. פָּצַע Hif.; v. Syr. פצח P. Sm. 3208) [to spread,] to sparkle, be bright, v. פַּצִּיחַ.
Pa. - פַּצֵּחַ (with עינא) to brighten the eye-sight. Ab. Zar. 28ᵇ פַּצּוּחֵי עינא to apply a paint (on the Sabbath) for the sake of brightening the eye-sight.
