Od. 12.392 ;νώμησεν δ' ἄρα πᾶσιν ἐ. 13.54 ;standing by, A.R. 1.293 ;ἐ. οὐτάζοντες standing up toeach other, Id. 2.84 .—The words of Od. 16.453 ,δόρπον ἐ. ὡπλίζοντο, seem to have given rise to the other expl. of the Sch.,ἐπισταμένως, ἐμπείρως(as if fromἐπίσταμαι).
