II. ὁδαῖα,τά, that for which a merchant travels, merchandise(obtained in exchange for hisφόρτοςor first freight), Od. 8.163 , 15.445 ; though a Sch. explains it as = ἐφόδια , Lat.viaticum; cf.ὁδάω.
